Damask roses cultivated in Tuscany are valued in artisanal perfumery for their balanced and elegant floral profile.

In Kannauj, India's historic perfume capital, Rosa damascena is steam distilled in traditional copper deg-bhapka stills - a rose essence that is deep, honeyed, slightly spicy and warm.

The diffuser carries this fragrance through the rooms where a flame can't go. Six black fiber reeds draw up the oil and release it slowly - a continuous veil of soft rose and gentle spice in the entryway, the bathroom, the bedside, the desk.
